Validate structured data in your browser
Inspect JSON-LD, microdata and basic RDFa locally using syntax and built-in property checks. Verify rich-result eligibility with the official tools.
Important: This tool provides limited syntax and sample property checks. It does not expand all JSON-LD contexts or certify full Schema.org conformance or Google rich-result eligibility. Local limits: 100,000 input characters, 3,000 HTML elements, 5,000 JSON values, 32 nested levels and 100 blocks. Always verify with the official tester.
Verify with Google Rich Results TestWhat we check vs what Google checks
This tool checks JSON syntax and a limited built-in property checklist. It does not expand every JSON-LD context or implement the complete Schema.org vocabulary. Checklist findings are review guidance, not universal schema requirements. Use the official validator and current feature documentation before publishing; no tool can guarantee a rich result.
Generator for Recipe / Article / FAQ / Product
Use the Generator tab to prepare a JSON-LD draft. Choose a built-in type, enter only facts that match your page, and review the result before publication. Checklist markers describe local guidance. Copy JSON, download it, or copy a script tag whose data is escaped for HTML embedding.
Common mistakes
- Missing useful descriptive fields like
nameorheadline - Invalid date formats (use ISO 8601:
2024-01-15) - Invalid duration formats (use ISO 8601:
PT30Mfor 30 minutes) - URLs that are malformed or inappropriate for their purpose; review identifiers such as
https:// - Relying on an old rich-result checklist instead of reviewing the current official guide
- FAQPage without
mainEntitycontaining Question items - Malformed JSON inside the
ld+jsonscript tag
Privacy
Your data never leaves your device. All parsing, extraction, and validation happens entirely in your browser. No server requests, no logging, no analytics on your content. The source code is fully auditable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why might Google reject my structured data even if this tool says it passes?
Passing local checks covers only this tool's limited checklist. Google publishes additional feature and content rules; this tool does not evaluate your live page, rendering or eligibility. Always verify with their official Rich Results Test before relying on rich results.
What structured data formats does this tool support?
The tool inspects JSON-LD objects and script tags, basic Microdata attributes and basic RDFa attributes. It does not implement all context, prefix, item-reference or expansion rules. Use a full standards validator for complete review.
Which Schema.org types are supported?
The built-in sample property lists include: Article, Product, Recipe, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, Organization, Event, LocalBusiness, Person, Review, JobPosting, VideoObject, WebPage, and ImageObject. Other types are reported for manual review. This is not the complete Schema.org vocabulary.
Can I validate a live page URL?
This tool does not fetch live page URLs or remote contexts. View your page source (Ctrl+U / Cmd+U), copy the HTML, and paste it into the "Paste HTML" tab. For live URL testing, use Google's Rich Results Test.
