The story
Harbour takes the proportions of a mid-century club chair and opens up the back with a scoop, so the chair looks lighter from behind than from the front. The legs are walnut, turned and finished with oil.
Materials
Heavy linen · Dry, cool hand with a natural slub; creases gracefully.
American black walnut · Dark, fine and slightly figured, with purple and grey notes that settle once oiled.
Wool bouclé · Soft, nubby and very hard-wearing; hides crumbs and pet hair well.
Olive corduroy · Ribbed, velvety and catching the light along the wale.
Oxblood leather · A deep red-brown with a waxy feel and visible natural markings.
