Discover Assembly

The gathering of independent studios, where every piece is made by the people standing next to it.

What to expect

Sixty studios across two halls of a restored flour mill: furniture, lighting, ceramics and textiles, with the makers on every booth.

The market

Most studios take orders at the fair, and many bring small pieces you can carry home the same day.

Talks & repair café

Two stages of talks and demonstrations, and a repair café where joiners fix your own wobbly chairs.

The shop

Can’t make the dates? Every piece on this site is made to order by an exhibiting studio and delivered to your door.

Join us for three days of making, talking and trying things out. Then take the pieces home, or order them from the shop all year.

Plan your visit

Explore

Order pieces from our exhibiting studios all year: made to order, in the finish you choose, delivered by people who care.

Three days in December to meet sixty studios, sit in everything, hear the makers speak and see how it is built.
