Reed sideboard

The fluted doors are milled from solid oak, not veneer, so the reeds can be sanded and re-oiled for decades. Inside, aluminium shelf pins let you move the shelves to fit records, glassware or files.

• European oak · Pale honey tones and a strong, open grain. Hard enough for tabletops, soft enough to carve.
• Brushed aluminium · Light, cool and quietly reflective.
• American black walnut · Dark, fine and slightly figured, with purple and grey notes that settle once oiled.
• Ebonised ash · Deep black with the grain still visible through the colour.

Dust along the flutes with a soft brush. Re-oil every two to three years.
