The story
A steel spine hidden inside the upholstered shell lets the Pivot stay slim while turning smoothly through a full circle. The four-point base is turned from solid oak and joined to an aluminium bearing.
Materials
Heavy linen · Dry, cool hand with a natural slub; creases gracefully.
European oak · Pale honey tones and a strong, open grain. Hard enough for tabletops, soft enough to carve.
Brushed aluminium · Light, cool and quietly reflective.
Wool bouclé · Soft, nubby and very hard-wearing; hides crumbs and pet hair well.
Oxblood leather · A deep red-brown with a waxy feel and visible natural markings.
American black walnut · Dark, fine and slightly figured, with purple and grey notes that settle once oiled.
Ebonised ash · Deep black with the grain still visible through the colour.
Dimensions
W 68 × D 72 × H 82 cm
Care
Wipe the base with a dry cloth. Fabric covers can be professionally cleaned.
