A walk through the city’s new walls

This year’s mural festival left fourteen new walls across three districts. We walked the route.

The route takes about two hours on foot and starts, appropriately, behind a bus depot. The first wall is an animal, or several animals, depending on where you stand.

The best walls are the ones that know their street: a mural that continues the brickwork, another that reaches around a corner, one that only makes sense from the window of a passing tram.

Bring comfortable shoes. Look up.
