Hydraulic engineers manage the most precious resource in a dry climate. They design dams and reservoirs, drinking-water and sanitation networks, irrigation systems and protection against floods.
The specialty, opened in 1998, has been strongly encouraged since 2022 in response to Algeria’s water challenges.
