Marble Queen is a variegated form of golden pothos, its leaves streaked cream and green. The pale parts have no chlorophyll, so it grows a little slower than plain pothos and keeps its marbling best in good light.
How to care for it
- Light
- Bright, indirect light keeps the marbling strong. It tolerates low light, but new leaves come out greener.
- Water
- When the top few centimetres are dry, about once a week in summer. Drooping leaves mean it is thirsty; they perk up within hours of a drink.
- Good to know
- Trim long vines to keep it bushy, and root the cuttings in a glass of water to make new plants.
